Red Bull Amaphiko Connect

Get It Done Director Mimi Dearing took Get It Done to Red Bull's Amaphiko Connect weekend in Bradford in October, selected as one of 15 of this generation's most exciting social entrepreneurs sparking social change in their communities. The programme upskilled the cohort with valuable business skills, information and tools of how to grow Get It Done collective into a sustainable social enterprise.

The weekend was packed with two days full of talks, seminars, workshops and activities, all preparing us to achieve social change. We received talks by Sade Brown, Kamran Rashid, Suzie Campbell, Richard Asomugha, and many more, focussing on everything from motivation, the Business Model Canvas, to creating your own narrative.

​Following our time with Red Bull, we were invited by Manchester School of Art to give a lecture to students, in a guide to building a creative social enterprise.
